  After which, I filed a few complaints with both their management and upper HQ management about how the seats were mighty uncomfortable for the minority of people with suede backs, so within a week, BOOM padded seating in the premium theaters.

  Great cinema, friendly staff, great facilities, unallocated seats and super cheap prices!!! (Not for food and drinks though, very pricey foods and drinks).

  Went to reading cinema chirnside last night and had the worst experience. There were at least 20 twelve year olds that sat behind the last row of seats on the floor and proceeded to talk , swear and laugh at the top of their voices all the way through the movie.They also ran up and down the aisle and were on their phones. I asked them to stop talking, but they just laughed. There was no staff to ask for help and no staff checked in during the movie. I could not concentrate on the film and may as well of not bothered to go at all. It was a complete waste of time and money. Will not be going there again.

  over time/years it slowly became more and more expensive, and exceptionally hard to justify.. 3D used to be free but soon it wasn't and then they went to a 'rent' glasses model where you had to pay to rent your 3d glasses, no longer could you keep them like previously.

  ticket prices kept climbing eventually jumping up to $25 per head entry for the privilege of sitting in a seat for 2hrs with sometimes flaky sound and stains/food on the seats. It got pretty bad.

  enough complaints and planning with management and it was the First reading country wide to be renovated and it was GLORIOUS! premium motorized seating, they removed gold class as a result and made it just all around so much better! Even dropping the price from the obscene amounts it was to just anywhere between 10-15 bucks.
